As always, in the opening plenary session we will kick off the conference with high-level speakers from the LED and lighting industries who will address the important issues that affect the future growth of the SSL markets in Europe as well as worldwide. A key feature of the plenary session will continue to be a review and forecast of the LED lighting market by Strategies Unlimited’s director of LED and lighting market research.
We will continue to offer parallel market and technology tracks that will address these two key elements in the future growth of SSL. Market and application-related presentations will range from case studies of high-end LED lighting projects to the concept of lighting as a service. On the technology side, presentations will range from recent developments in LED component technology to advanced manufacturing issues.
This year our pre-conference workshops will address smart lighting and the industry’s acceptance of LED performance marks. Also, we will again be providing a variety of free presentations on the exhibit floor. These will include both new product introductions as
well as informative seminars on subjects of interest to the SSL community. Moreover, the exhibit area will feature over 80 companies showing the latest products from throughout the LED lighting vertical supply chain, from components to luminaires.
